Escrow & Safe Trading

Safe Trading Guidelines
At Webdeals.io, the security of our buyers and sellers is our top priority. Because digital assets (SaaS, domains, code) can involve significant sums of money, we strongly enforce safe trading practices.
1. Use a Verified Escrow Service
We do not process final payments for high-value digital assets on our platform. To protect both parties, we highly recommend using a licensed third-party escrow service such as Escrow.com.
- The buyer deposits funds into the secure Escrow account.
- The seller transfers the domain, source code, and assets.
- The buyer inspects the assets within the agreed inspection period.
- Funds are released to the seller only after both parties confirm the transfer.
2. Verifying Asset Ownership
Before transferring any funds or signing agreements, always verify that the seller has legal ownership of the asset:
- Domains: Check the WHOIS database. Ask the seller to upload a specific TXT record to the DNS to prove ownership.
- SaaS & Revenue: Request live screen-shares of Stripe, PayPal, or Google Analytics dashboards. Never rely solely on screenshots.
3. Communication
Keep all initial communication and negotiations within the Webdeals.io Private Messaging system. This provides a written record in case of a dispute.
